The expanding wild mechanic triggers when wild symbols land on reels 2, 3, or 4. Upon activation, the wild expands vertically to cover the entire reel, substituting for all symbols except scatters. During cascade sequences, expanded wilds remain locked in position for the duration of the chain, increasing multiplier potential with each consecutive cascade.
